InstallConstruct v5.4 and v5.3 specifically provide additional options for installing package on Windows XP. The latest update added / fixed support for installing services.

Recent Update (December 2002): v5.4 Build 004 added / fixed support for installing services and Previous Version search for INI file in dynamic folder.

Recent Update (November 2002): v5.4 lets you create packages on any Windows platform with XP style look and feel when the packages are being installed under Windows XP.

Recent Update (November 2002): v5.3 Build 003 added Check Update so you can check online to find out if you are running the latest version and build. If not, the system is capable of updating your program upon request. This allows you to check and update your InstallConstruct at your convenience so you can respond to OS and SP changes in a timely manner.

Recent Update (October 2002): v5.3 - Build 001 added function to create installer for XP specific destination folders, i.e. copying files to designated folders only when the target machines are Windows XP platforms. Also updated the Uninstaller function for platfrom dependent file removal.
