Frequently Asked Questions:
Do I need Photo TurboBackup to restore my files? Not necessarily, you have the option of using standard Zip (.zip) format for your backup, which does not require any special software to restore it. Once you create your backup in the .zip format, you can restore it by unzipping the file using most popular Zip programs like TurboZIP. Or if you use the Duplicate Files and Folders option, you can simply copy them back to restore your backup.
You can also create backups in Backup (.tbz) format, which stores more detailed information than traditional Zip format, such as the source drive. Only in that case do you need Photo TurboBackup to restore your data and files.
Where should I store my backup? If you want to backup your system to protect against hard drive failure or virus attack, it is always recommended that you keep a copy of your backup on media other than the original hard drive. Photo TurboBackup supports direct backup to DVD, CD, removable drives, NAS, and LAN. No other software is needed. Do I need additional license for more than one computer? Yes, you should purchase additional license if you use Photo TurboBackup on more than one computer. We offer a Multi-Pack for only $29.95 per additional computer. |
