Frequently Asked Questions
I can't find my WinSettings Tray icon. When I double click the WinSettings Desktop icon, it says WinSettings is already running but I can't see it in the System Tray. What do I do?
First, use Ctrl+Alt+Del to bring up the Task Manager, select WinSettings from the list and end it. Then, double click the WinSettings Desktop icon to bring it back to the System Tray.
I have saved my online banking login information on the computer. How do I remove it to prevent others from accessing my account?
Many banks store your login information in Cookies on the local computer. If this is how your bank does it, you can use the WinSettings Clean Up Cookies feature to remove your login information. You can clean up saved cookies in the WinSettings Control Center, Get control of Cookies, search for the name of your bank and then delete it. We recommend that you try it first to see if your bank stores information in the form of cookies.
